Efecto rebote after effects

after effects jiggle expression

In this course I will cover everything you need to know about expressions and how you can speed up your workflow in a smart and much more efficient way. Now that you’ve lost your fear of After Effects and have taken the plunge into creating animations on your own, it’s time to take the next step with expressions.

Let’s say we have a ball moving across the screen from left to right, but we also want that ball to wobble. Instead of doing it by hand, or applying an effect and giving it lots and lots of keyframes, we can simply apply a wiggle expression to it.

So we’ll just have our two keyframes telling it to go left to right, plus the expression telling it to wiggle. It keeps things nice and organized, as well as easily changeable. Instead of having to redo hundreds of keyframes if we want our wiggle to be more extreme, we can just change the expression. So we are animating our object in two ways, using keyframes and using an expression.

Thank you very much, that’s what I was looking for. I knew something about the expressions, but I never needed them. One last question, how to make them stop? because when I put the text «bouncing» until it goes away and I just want to stay with the effect for a second. Is there any way? Thanks again!

It is as Arzur comments you only thatCiteThe 10 and 100 you modify them to your taste knowing that one will bounce horizontally and the other vertically.i understand that the first number is the number of times per second that will move and the second is how much it will move in its movement both vertically and horizontally with that particular expression, of course that with expressions can move in a single axis or in several axes with different frequency and magnitude for each one of them. There is in the market a course of expressions of the teacher Jorge Mochon (Adobe and Video2Brain instructor) very but very good of which I leave the link and in which just has two chapters free sample and one of them is about this expression https://www.udemy.com/expresiones-ae-401/#dashboardSaludos

Select a layer. Press P to display the Position property in the Timeline panel. Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS) and click the stopwatch to the left of the property name.

// Use the spiral icon to create the «effect (…)» link to the slider var wiggleAmount = effect(«Wiggle Amount»)(«Slider»); // Wiggle four times per second the amount defined by the slider wiggle( 4, wiggleAmount );

This expression, usually known as inertia bounce, uses the animation of a layer’s keyframes to create a natural highlight. It creates a bouncing motion of any parameter from one keyframe to the next, depending on its velocity. The bounce occurs in the direction in which the object is located. To achieve this animation: create or import the graphics in After Effects.

You can use the spiral icon to link rotation values between layers to animated objects. In this case, consider the three circles as three hands of the clock: the hour hand moves from hour to hour, while the minute hand rotates the entire circumference of the clock face.

Effects in the Obsolete category are retained to allow compatibility with projects created with earlier versions of After Effects. When updating projects or creating new projects, you should use alternative effects and techniques instead of the effects in the Obsolete category.

If you are working in a project that was created with an earlier version of After Effects and the basic 3D effect is applied to one or more layers, you can continue to use this effect, or use the 3D layer switch instead to convert the layers to 3D. (See 3D layers.) This effect works with 8 bpc colors. The basic 3D effect manipulates a layer in 3D space. Adjusting the quality of the layer affects the basic 3D effect. Draft quality calculates the pixel location to the nearest integer value; Optimal quality calculates the pixel location to the subpixel level.

Adds a flash of light that is reflected on the layer surface. The light source for the specular highlight is always above, behind and to the left of the viewport. Since the light comes from above, the image must be tilted back to see the reflection. The specular highlight can only be seen in Best quality. If Draw previewed wireframe is selected, the specular highlight is indicated by a red plus sign (+) if it is not visible on the layer (i.e. if the center of the highlight does not intersect the layer) and a green plus sign (+) if it is visible.
